Who can apply?
Any incoming male freshman that will be attending the University of Texas at Austin in Fall of 2019. Your choice to rush Beta is not contingent on apply and/or receiving the scholarship. However, if you do want more information on rushing Beta, click here.

How will I know if I am awarded the scholarship?
There is an online application that can be found here. Deadline to apply is August 18th by 11:59 pm.
All communication about updates or awarding of the scholarship will be through email. The email you provide in the application is the one you will be notified with (so please provide an email that you check regularly).
Why do y'all provide this scholarship?
Our intention of providing the scholarship is to recognize and reward men coming to campus whom we believe embodies our chapter’s values — those who live as true men of principle.
Here on campus, Beta strives to build Men of Principle that will be successful in all facets of their lives. In our 180 years, Beta Theta Pi has created people with the desire to excel. This is shown through our notable alumni that include Sam Walton, Neil Everett, and Bruce Nordstrom among others.
Beta seeks to reward men who strive for intellectual growth and who show a passion for those around them.
